This department is the first one in Taiwan that incorporates the cultivation of entrepreneurial knowledge into its goal. It targets the employment of large enterprises and SME entrepreneurship as its two major cultivating directions and two major program modules of business administration management and entrepreneurship management are designed so as to not only conform to current social trend and industrial characteristics in Taiwan, help to enhance the competitiveness of students for further studies and employment as well..

Faculty

  1. All full-time teachers in this department have doctoral degrees and graduated from well-known universities domestic and abroad. They have excellent performance in teaching, research, service and counseling.
  2. Academic seminars, workshop, celebrity speech are irregularly held, and professional curriculum group and teacher growth group are formed so as to enhance teachers’ have excellent theoretical and teaching practical capabilities.
  3. Case study-based teaching are adopted by some teachers to cultivate students' ability of practical analysis and decision-making. In addition, we have teachers who can strengthen students’ foreign language proficiency, therefore, talents with local and international-viewed business management knowledge can be nurtured.

Curriculum and Teaching

  1. Dynamic curriculum adjustment: Curriculum designed are based on social constant values, economic and social trends.
  2. Stream education: According to students' personal characteristics and wishes, the two major modules of business management and entrepreneurship management are employed to provide students with training in employability, entrepreneurial spirit and entrepreneurial skills.
  3. Basic discipline training: Teaching on basic business courses are enhanced to help students who aim at graduate studies.
  4. Certificate tutoring Courses: Supplementary courses for the promoted certificate such as quality-related licenses, big data licenses, etc. are provided to increase the acceptance rate.
  5. Practical and active-based professional courses: Case study-based teaching method are used to cultivate students' listening, thinking, analytic, and expressing skills, and to enhance students' learning motivation and learning effectiveness. Corporate visits and internships are planed so classroom learned knowledge can be validated.
  6. Industry-school cooperation: Industry specialty/expertise are introduced into classroom, industry-school platforms are established.
